Seeking an Intellectual Collaborator in Philosophy of Medicine and Human Health
I am looking for an intellectual collaborator to help develop an interdisciplinary framework of human health that integrates medicine, philosophy, psychology, evolutionary biology, systems thinking, and decision theory into a coherent conceptual model.The project is based on a holistic perspective. Rather than treating the body, mind, society, and environment as isolated domains, it explores how they continuously interact to shape health, disease, behavior, and human decision-making.This work has been evolving over several years through clinical practice, extensive reading, and ongoing reflection. It is not intended to replace established scientific knowledge or promote alternative medicine. Instead, its aim is to connect evidence and ideas from multiple disciplines into a practical framework that helps people understand health more clearly while remaining open to criticism and empirical evaluation.What I am looking forI am not looking for a ghostwriter or someone who simply edits language.I am looking for someone who genuinely enjoys thinking, questioning assumptions, identifying weaknesses in arguments, and refining ideas through rigorous discussion.The collaboration would involve meeting regularly—either in person (Valencia) or online—to work through the project chapter by chapter and paragraph by paragraph. Every argument should be challenged, every concept examined, and every conclusion tested as honestly as possible.Agreement is not the goal. Critical thinking is.Backgrounds that may fitI would be delighted to hear from people with experience or strong interest in one or more of the following fields:* Philosophy of medicine* Philosophy of science* Primary care or clinical medicine* Public health* Psychology* Anthropology* Neuroscience* Systems thinking* Complexity science* Academic writingNo one is expected to be an expert in all of these areas.
