Senior Network Administrator

Job Description:
* Oversees IT network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, DC), day-to-day IT operations working with managed services vendors in a highly outsourced environment
* Oversees and manages outsourced operations & projects staff in Network area
* Design, plan, integrate and manage networks
* Articulate well on all levels, have a passion for cost-effective cutting-edge network solutions. Functions as a key technical contributor
* Partners with management to assess/evaluate vendor performance, spend optimization, risk management etc. and comes up with recommendations to address any issues.
* Develops processes, checklists for handing projects and subsequent hand-over to operations team. Oversees upkeep of process/procedures & technical documentation. Makes improvements by incorporating the learnings from recent issues, upgrades & patches.
* Responsible for delivering results that usually impact several tactical areas
* Identifies and resolves highly complex or specialized issues that may require departure from traditional approaches, establishment of new techniques and processes. Works with key contacts outside own area of expertise and works with multiple IT teams to troubleshoot & fix issues.
* Escalation point for P1/P2 issues and complex problems in a 24×7 support environment. Works with multiple IT teams to ensure Keep The Lights On goal. Strives in meeting targeted response & resolution time SLAs.
* Looks for opportunities to improve day-to-day operations by implementing pro-active monitoring/management and automating routine tasks.
* Ability to work in a fast-moving environment & self-driven.
* Coaches and mentors junior team members & outsourced managed services staff
* Flexibility with travel is required travels to other company/DC locations for project implementation, vendor visits etc.

Principle duties and responsibilities
Office Management (Facility):
The Office Administrator will have a secondary function to support the departments.
Qualifications, Skills
• English (fluent in writing and speaking).• Minimum 3-5 years of office reception, clerical and facilities experience.
• Proven experience of management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and able to multi-task under time constraints.
• Professional handling of MS-Office.
• Service oriented team spirit.
