Software Development Team Lead

Location – Amdocs Raanana

Ordering is a call center application supporting all types of Telco’s orders, using its own UI, and providing services to other consumers, such as: Self Service and RIM. We are looking for experienced team leader to lead small development team (5-6 members).
• Technical Leadership — Provides technical leadership to software engineers by means of coaching and mentorship throughout E2E software development, maintenance, and lifecycle to achieve project goals to the required level of quality. Promotes team engagement and motivation.
• Task Management – Provides input to the software engineering manager for estimates, resource needs, milestones and risks. Gets task assignments from the Software Engineering Manager. Defines work breakdown structure. Plans and leads task execution by assigning software engineers to tasks, ensuring effective delegation, monitoring tasks, identifying risks and handling mitigation and escalations.
• Engineering — Provides hands-on technical and functional input to design, maintenance, build, integration and testing of complex software components according to functional and technical design specifications. Reviews and provides feedback and suggests solutions including operability perspective. Identifies areas of automation etc. Follows Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodologies and release processes. Performs code review and participates in test reviews.
• Analysis & Design – Analyzes and provides input for the requirements and provides impact assessment for new features or bug fixes. Make high-level design and establishes technical standards (for example, software coding standards, tools, and platforms). Performs scoping work with the customer.

Job Requirements:
Must:
• Managerial skills.
• Setting priorities and understanding level of urgency
• Capable of taking decisions
• presentation skills
• Experience in server side – Java programming experience for 5+ years
• Deep Knowledge of Java design patterns.
• Knowledge of design standards, methodologies and tools such as SOA, Web Services, REST Services
• Ability to fast and self-learn
• Computer science degree
Advantage:
Knowledge of Amdocs Ordering product – advantage
• Knowledge in Data base utilization
• Knowledge in UNIX and SQL
• Experience in big projects production
• Familiarity with Agile methodology

    Principle duties and responsibilities

    • Reception of delivery persons, guests, customers, and employees from other Adtran offices.
    • Ordering office materials, company beverages, and kitchen supplies.
    • Maintenance and distribution of various office lists.
    • Administration of the car-fleet and management of Car Officer, making sure cars are maintained based on ADTRAN car policy.

     Office Management (Facility):

    • Administration of kitchen and office equipment.
    • Contact person for the local facility manager, house maintenance, cleaning company, and other service companies •
    • Administration of kitchen and office equipment
    •  Health & safety Assistant
    • Assistance in writing and translating safety and hygiene procedures in accordance with the requirements of the laws of the State of Israel.

    The Office Administrator will have a secondary function to support the departments.

    • Closing time record report.
    • ·Support of events.

    Qualifications, Skills
    • English (fluent in writing and speaking).

    • Minimum 3-5 years of office reception, clerical and facilities experience.

    • Proven experience of management skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Highly organized and able to multi-task under time constraints.

    • Professional handling of MS-Office.

    • Service oriented team spirit.
