POSITION SUMMARY:

A dynamic start-up company is looking for a business development and sales executive to lead its global sales activities. Founded by a team of prominent entrepreneurs, the company has developed a breakthrough technology for mobile commerce applications. The candidate must have a significant track record of success in global sales and business development. Business experience with sales in the mobile space, such as Handset vendors or m-commerce, is an advantage.
JOB DISCRIPTION:
• Lead business development and sales efforts, including seeking out key industry contacts and potential business partners, developing business opportunities, and guiding sales efforts from the initial stages to contract signing
• Develop the business sales strategy and specify applicable contract requirements
• Conduct market research to identify new directions and market opportunities. Evaluate customer needs. Plan and lead new marketing initiatives
• Build and manage the global sales team
• Develop and manage the entire sales pipeline
Job Requirements:
EXPERIENCE REQUIERMENTS:
• Previous experience as a Biz dev, sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director preferably from a company in the mobile or mobile app/e-commerce industry
• Demonstrated record of success in a fast-paced, young startup sales environment, including bringing in new business
• Previous experience with e-commerce sales – Advantage
• 5+ years experience in sales management – Advantage
• Willingness and ability to travel
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
• BA/BS degree or equivalent
